Our commitment to delivering quality is demonstrated by our implementation of the International Standards Organization (ISO) 2000 and the Software Engineering Institute/ Capability Maturity Model (SEI/CMM)standards. Our processes, procedures and its effective implementation has been verified by external auditors.

SEI/CMM Framework implementation

eBITS has implemented the Software Engineering Institutes Capability Maturity Model framework for software development(SW-CMM). This standard is used by the department of defense and major commercial organizations to ensure consistent use of best practices. The SEI/CMM standards define five levels of maturity , 1 being the beginning and 5 the highest with optimized processes, for organizations that intend or build custom software. eBITS is now certified at SW-CMM Level 3 by an external organization.

eBITS ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)

eBITS was registered, as an ISO 9001:2000 company in September 2003 after a full audit by British Standards Institute (BSI). Our QMS ensures that there is commitment from the top management and visibility across the organization for all projects. Employees and management use an integrated web based Quality Management System to record, track and resolve Corrective Action Requests. Every one in the company are empowered to create Preventive Action Requests to initiate action by the Quality Manager if they believe that a project may have issues. An independent auditor from British Standards Institute continues to conduct surveillence audits every six months. We share our audit reports and our project issues with our customers on a periodic basis.
