During the past 10 years we have saved money, improved productivity by reducing costly rework. Following are a few of our completed projects.
Automated Meter Reading System - Automating the reading of water meters in the nations capital was a key project for the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority ( DCWASA). A project that used wireless technology and solar powered data collection units to obtain meter readings twice daily. eBITS assisted in the management of the project, implementation of COTS product and integration. This project reduced rework and integrated new business processes that increased revenue and productivity for DCWASA.
Customer Information System - The challenge was to migrate from a COBOL based legacy system to a modern relational database system for the District customers. We implemented a COTS product with new and advanced features that included the implementation of Integrated Voice Response system for queries and payment processing and a web enabled payment system. The system was cut-over without a glitch or any interruption.
